A goodbye filled with love.

Saying goodbye is never easy, especially when it's to your best friend. Today was one of those days my heart felt both happy and heavy at the same time.

My best friend is leaving for Japan to start a new journey in her life. 

I am so proud of her for chasing her dreams. As we stood together, we laughed, shared memories and tried to hide our tears. Every little moment reminded me of the countless times we spent together. Our jokes, our secrets and our endless conversations.

The hardest part was saying that final goodbye. 

Even though miles will separate us, I know our friendship will never fade. Distance can never break a bond that is built with true friendship. 

So this is not just a goodbye.... It's a "see you soon."💕

A sweet story - "The Professional Single"

Last year, I watched a chinese drama named "The Professional single". It was such a lovely drama.

The story is about two art students who slowly become close to each other.  At first, their relationship is a bit confusing and funny but as time goes on, their bond becomes stronger and more meaningful. 

Their journey felt very real and natural. What I liked most was how simple and calm the drama felt. The scenes were beautiful and pretty.

And the characters were also very interesting. They had different personalities but together they created many fun and emotional moments.

This drama is not only about love, but also about friendship, dreams, and growing as a person. 

It shows how people can change and understand each other better over time.

A quiet day at an Oak tree.

The day I went to watch an Oak tree I didn't feel like an ordinary day. It felt like stepping into something unknown, something quietly powerful.

I didn't know much about the play before going. I just wanted to enjoy something different. 

As the play started, I became more and more interested. It was not like other dramas i have seen. I watched carefully and trying to understand every moment.

Some parts made me think deeply. Some parts made me curious

After it ended, I walked out slowly still thinking about it. It stayed in my mind for a long time.

It was a meaningful experience I had in my life.

 

Simple joys with ceramic pieces.

I have always been a big fan of ceramic items. There is something simple and calming about them that makes me feel happy.

Even the smallest ceramic cup or plate can bring a special kind of joy.

I love the way ceramics look and feel. Some are smooth and shiny, while others are a little rough and natural. 

Each piece is different and that's what makes them interesting.

Whenever I see ceramic items in shops or markets, I stop and look.

The colors, designs and shapes always catch my eyes.

Sometimes I imagine how they were made. Someone carefully shaping the clay and turning it into something beautiful.

At home, my favourite ceramic items are always close to me.

 I use my favourite mug for tea, plate for eat.

For me, ceramic items are not just things , they are little pieces of art that make life feel more peaceful and special.

Little paws, Big love - TASHI

"TASHI" is not just my pet dog. He is a special part of my life. He brings happiness to my home everyday.

Every morning, Tashi wakes me up with his playful energy and wagging tail. He always looks so excited like each day is something new and fun for him. seeing him like that makes my day start with a smile.

Tashi understands me his own way. When I feel tired or sad, he stays close to me quietly. When I am happy, he becomes even more playful.

Sometimes, he makes a mess or steals things but I can never stay angry at him. His cute face make everything okay.

Tashi has taught me what true love and friendship feel like.

 He may be just a dog, but to me he is a big part of my heart.

A calm night under the Colombo sky.

At night, Colombo becomes quiet and peaceful. The busy streets slow down and a gentle silence fills the air. The sky turns dark and the city lights begin to shine softly.

In the middle of the city, the LOTUS TOWER stands tall and bright. Its colorful lights make the night more beautiful. It looks like a glowing flower reaching up into the sky.

Walking under the dark sky, I find a moment to pause and just breathe. 

No distractions , No noise, just me and the calm rhythm of the night.

These simple walks that Colombo shows a different sides.

Whatever sometimes, the darkest skies bring the brightest thoughts.

A day at Abadeen waterfall.

 Nature always has a way of calming the heart . My visit to Abadeen waterfall was one of those peaceful experiences i will never forget.

Standing near the waterfall, I could feel the tiny drops of water in the air.  It's like the nature gently welcoming its visitors.

The sound of water falling from the rocks created a natural melody that instantly relaxed my mind.  And the beauty of abadeen waterfall is not only in its flowing water but also in the peaceful environment around it. The trees, the sound of birds and the gentle mist from the waterfall create a magical experience for anyone who visits.

Spending time there reminded me how refreshing nature can be. It was a moment to pause, breathe deeply and simply admire the beauty of the world around me.

"Aluth Kalawak", A symphony of memories.

 The lights dim, the music swells, and the night comes alive. 

"Aluth Kalawak" was more than a concert. It was a journey through sound, emotion and connection.

It was a night that will stay with me forever. This was more than entertainment,it was an experience. A night that will echo in our hearts, reminding us of the power of music to bring us together.

The highlights of the night was the incredible performances by the musicians. They were on fire, pouring their hearts and souls into every note. The crowd was completely amazing. They singing along to every song and dancing with abandon.

Actually that was the power of art to bring people together.

I'm so grateful to have been a part of it.

Poolside evenings & Watermelon dreams.

 As the evening sun slowly began to fade, the poolside turned into a peaceful little paradise. It is a calm and dreamy feeling that is hard to describe. 

I sat beside the pool with a glass of fresh watermelon juice in my hand. The cool sweetness of the juice was incredibly refreshing after a warm day. Each sip felt refreshing like a tiny splash of happiness. There was no rush, no noise, just the calming beauty of the evening and the simple joy of a fresh drink.

Sometimes the best moments are the simplest ones. A calm poolside evening, a glass of fresh watermelon juice and a heart that feels light and happy.🍉🍹

Sweet magic in my free time.

In my leisure time, one of the things I enjoy the most is making cakes. Baking is not just about mixing ingredients, it is a peaceful and creative moment that makes my day brighter.

Whenever I have some free time, I go to the kitchen take out flour, sugar, eggs, butter and start preparing my cake. The simple process of mixing the batter feels relaxing almost like creating a small piece of happiness.

While the cake is baking in the oven, the sweet smell slowly fills the whole house. It feels like the kitchen turns into a little bakery made by my own hands.

The best part is decorating the cake. some times I add cream, chocolate or colorful sprinkles to make it look beautiful.

Finally when the cake is ready, sharing it with my family makes me very happy. seeing their smiles while they enjoy a slice of cake makes my leisure time feel meaningful and joyful.

For me, baking cakes is more than a hobby. It is a sweet way to relax, be creative and spread happiness.🍰🎂

A cinematic evening with "AYU".

 Last 3-4  months turned into something unexpectedly magical.        All  because of one movie "AYU".

I didn't expect the day to feel so special. It started like any ordinary afternoon. The sky was calm, the city was busy as usual, and I was just another girl walking toward the cinema hall with a heart full of curiosity.

The moment I stepped inside, everything changed. The scent of popcorn mixed with the soft conversations. The dim lights, the glowing screen, the excitement in the air, it all felt like stepping into another world. I found my seat,held my ticket tightly and waited for the story to begin. 

When AYU started, the entire theatre fell silent. From the very first scene, I felt connected. The emotions were raw, the visuals were beautiful, and every dialogue carried weight. 

There were moments when I smiled softly. There were moments when my eyes became heavy with emotions. I realized how powerful cinema can be, how it can make strangers in a dark room feel the same heartbeat at the same time.

Honestly, that day became more than just a day I watched a movie.

It became a memory stitched with emotions, lights and the magic of storytelling.
